Hey all, thanks for stopping to read this. I am a married mom of one, both parents are working full-time jobs and we are not able to make ends meet.
Hubby has had some health problems the past few months and has missed a lot of work. His company does not pay for time off (mine does) so we're almost 3 months behind in our rent. Our landlord, bless her heart, just presented us with a 5-day notice to pay $2K or move out. We do not have this money and I have no idea where to even start looking for grants to pay the rent. We need to also get into debt consolidation, but you have to pay a fee for those services. We're in a catch -22 here and I just don't know where else to go. Anyone have any thoughts? We live in a small town in KS and there are no community offices that can assist with rent money.
